The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group
From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in power within the city.
Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season are included.
The Soldiers Table Introduced
Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table includes Teor (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
Why Split the Party?
With 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
Hence, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.
Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.
Why They Must Go
For one thing, the party understands precisely where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.
An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—used the foes for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
The antagonist then settled his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.
Individual Reasons
Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:
- The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants revenge.
- The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous location.
- The warrior and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the team reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him anywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This leaves them few options but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.
