Latest Oil Plant Assault Reveals 'Absolutely No Secure Places in Russia's Deep Rear'

Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have struck the Russian oil processing plant in Ufa, located around 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine, causing detonations and a fire, according to a informed individual in Ukraine's SBU.

This constitutes the third intelligence long-range attack in the region in the past month. Those operations show that there are no secure zones in the deep rear of the Russian state.

Zelenskyy Urges US President to Facilitate Ceasefire in Ukraine

The Ukrainian leader appealed to the US President to facilitate a truce in Ukraine over a telephone conversation on Saturday.

In Russia's frontier area of the Belgorod region, a truck driver was fatally wounded by a Ukrainian strike, per municipal sources.

Power Recovery Work in the Capital

Efforts continued on the weekend to repair energy infrastructure in Kyiv, after strikes by Moscow.

Energy had been returned to in excess of 800,000 residents by Saturday and the major private energy company announced the primary efforts to repair the grid was concluded though partial blackouts continued.

Air Defence Efforts and UAV Interceptions

The Cuban foreign ministry stated of Cubans who might be involved: "There is no doubt that no individual have the encouragement, commitment, or authorization of the Cuban authorities for their activities."
