This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

That it took as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It is hard for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the opportunity.

Some will argue the argument supporting the pressure of a final. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when confronting a historic chase and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's definite is this century was far harder to see coming.

"A chance to play and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 more at run per delivery - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

These statements will be the last competing nations at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a belief they will win from any position has only strengthened - this success coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.

During that phase they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.
