The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an special katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
